We Travelled to allapuzha on a local bus from Fort Kochin where we were packed in like sardines an amazing experience on it own.We then caught the local ferry to take us to Chennamkary.The Ferry takes about one hour and cost 7 rupee!

We stayed at Greenpalm Homes a Homestay, one house ran by Philips family and one house ran by Thomas`s family.The food was great and very very ample to say the least.Well done Green palm homes!

Greenpalm homes provide you with a range of activities,,canoeing in a traditional Keralan canoe,Cycling on old Indian bicycles,evening walks,and early morning walks.The locals were really friendly and the area very Photogenic.We went on a Sunset motor boat cruise and sat on the roof and were treated to a spectacular sunset.A lovely end to our stay in the backwaters
