We enjoyed Quito despite the Traffic and pollution.When the plane was coming into land we spotted Cotapaxi through the cloud,that was a nice stare to our trip.

As soon as we arrived we went off to the old town,and then decided to climb to the top of the Basilica,not for the faint hearted,especially when you are feeling the altituide and i was out of breath climbing up to the top but we got there,and was greeted with a stunning view across the city.
We used Quito as our base and kept coming back to it between trips.
The other outstanding view was from the top of the Teleferiqo it`s a shame it wasn`t clearer but please have a look at the panorama`s.

It was nice to see the old Town illuminated in the evening as well.
