On our drive down the Pan American Highway to Riobamba we were lucky to see Chimbarazo appear out of the clouds, we managed a quick photo opportunity before it vanished again. We then passed through the green fields farmlands seeing potato farmers hard at work. We soon arrived in Riobamba, where we stayed one night before taking a trip on the Nariz Del Diablo (Devils Nose Railway).
