We experienced our first sighting of the albatross and Nascar boobies, both on the ground and flying overhead. Too late to see the courtship rituals as their eggs were already laid. We encountered hundreds of marine iguanas basking in the sun and scarcely visible against the lava rocks. We also saw mocking birds, and finches.
