A wet landing brought us to Punta Cormorant, just off Floreana at around 07:30. Our walk took us around the picturesque Flamingo Lagoon where we soon spotted our first solitary flamingo; then just a short distance away we encountered a group of eight. Taking in the beautiful scenery, spotting the odd lizard and gazing at some interesting flora along the way. We did not see a lot of other bird life apart from some black necked stilt feeding in the shallows.
